Did this drive come with any Mac drivers? ( It may still work without drives as OS X has USB Mass Storage device drivers built in.

Plug it into a USB port. Then put a floppy disk into the drive. The Mac won't recognize and mount the drive until a disk is inserted.

If you are using this with older floppy disks that could have Windows PC files on them, the Mac will not be able to read these unless you have Windows installed and running on your Mac.

Mac formatted Floppy discs may or may not be readable depending on what OS X version you are running and what data is on the Mac formatted floppy discs.
